Where does the time seem to go?
I know my mornings are jam packed and I look forward to getting home, having lunch and then relaxing. However, my afternoons are not as productive as my mornings. That is something that I need to work on . Something I need to focus my energies on.
I'm not happy with how my house gets neglected. I should say feels neglected. Oh and the laundry, I do SO much better when I'm home of a morning and can get my household chores going.
I need to establish some rules for myself, no computer time unless I have my chores done. Easier said than done!
Off to get some work done!

Oh the peace and quiet...
of an empty house on the first day back to school after Christmas break! It's so relaxing. Now sure I miss them dearly and cannot wait for them to step foot off of the school bus, but for the smallest bit of time today the house has been quiet. Almost too quiet.
I'm anxiously awaiting to see if The Clean Plate Club will be having the Cookie Carnival this month. I'd like to participate!
Some quilting is bound to get done this week. I wonder if I can find a quilt a long to participate in. Or maybe I will just make the runners I need to make for Valentines day, that is on my Brain Dump List.
I picked up some AWESOME fabric at IKEA that had just been discontinued. I thought is was going to be $7.99 per yard, I almost fell over when she said it was $2.99 a yard! Yeah!
Along with finishing taking down the Christmas deocrations. The twelve days of Christmas are almost over. The trees will stay up until after Epiphany, but the rest of the stuff is coming down. This was the first year that I have really not enjoyed the decorating process and could not wait for it all to come down. I only finished putting it up the 2nd week of December, but alas, I'm ready for it to come down.
